Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary: We use your information to operate your account, sync your debt plan across devices, send reminders, show ads to free users, and manage subscriptions. We do not access your bank accounts or sell your personal financial records.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to Debt Payoff Planner (the “App”), operated by BrainFleck Solution (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect

3. How information is collected
- Directly from you when you register, complete your profile, add debts or payments, set reminders, or contact support.
- Automatically through app analytics, advertising, crash/diagnostic, notification, and subscription technologies.
- From platform providers when you use Google Sign-In, Google Play, Apple App Store, or restore a purchase.
4. How we use information
- Provide debt-planning calculations, reports, reminders, and personalized in-app guidance.
- Create, authenticate, maintain, and protect user accounts.
- Synchronize debts, payments, family data, and preferences between your devices.
- Process subscriptions, restore purchases, and unlock paid features.
- Deliver and measure advertising, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
- Send push notifications where you have granted permission.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and improve the App.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
5. Service providers and sharing
We disclose information only as needed to operate the App, comply with law, or protect users. Our providers may process data under their own policies and contractual obligations:
- BrainFleck backend services — account management and cloud synchronization.
- Google Firebase — authentication support, analytics, configuration, and related app services.
- Google Sign-In — optional account sign-in.
- Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform — advertising, measurement, and consent controls for free users.
- OneSignal — push notifications and notification subscription management.
- RevenueCat, Google Play, and Apple App Store — subscription processing, validation, and entitlement management.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to investigate fraud or security issues, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal financial planning records.
6. Advertising and consent choices
Free users may see ads. Where required, the App presents Google’s consent form before requesting personalized advertising. You can revisit your choices in More Tools → Ads privacy options. Premium users may receive an ad-free experience according to their active plan. Platform settings may also let you limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier.
7. Data storage, security, and international processing
Some information is stored locally on your device, while account-linked planner data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on our backend or with the providers listed above. Data may be processed in countries other than your own. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Data retention
We retain account and planner information while your account is active and as needed to provide the App. After account deletion, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where limited retention is required for legal compliance, transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement. Store providers may retain purchase records under their own legal obligations.
9. Your choices and rights
- Update your name, email, settings, reminders, debts, and payments in the App.
- Disable notifications through the App or device settings.
- Manage advertising consent through Ads privacy options.
- Restore or manage subscriptions through the App and your platform account.
- Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability where applicable by law.
10. Account and data deletion
You can delete your account in the App at More Tools → Profile Settings → Delete account. This requests deletion of the account and associated synchronized planner data and clears user-scoped data from the device. If you cannot access the App, use our Account Deletion page or email brainfleck@gmail.com from your registered email address.
11. Children’s privacy
The App is a personal finance tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in the user’s country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
12. Financial disclaimer
The App provides educational planning tools and estimates, not financial, legal, tax, investment, or credit advice. You remain responsible for financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy with a revised effective date and provide additional notice where required.
